Graveside services for Richard Kelly McClure, 79 of Daingerfield will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Veal Switch Cemetery.Kelly was born on April 14, 1941 in Wilbarger County Texas to Leonard Virgil and Mildred Hazel McClure. He died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.He was a veteran of the U S Air Force and retired from Lone Star Steel. Kelly was a member of American Legion Post 351 in Hughes Springs and was a member of the Oasis Masonic Lodge 79. He was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.Survived by his wife Nell McClure of Daingerfield; daughter Nicole "Nikki" Burgess and husband James of Simms; sons James McClure and wife Michelle of Mt. Pleasant, Todd Bohannan and wife Crystal of Jenkins, Danny Bohannan of Lone Star; brothers Jimmy McClure of Mt. Pleasant, Jerry McClure of Cookville; sister Pamela McClure of Mt. Pleasant; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The family asks that donations be made to Hughes Springs American Legion Post 351.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
