Love you
P daddy..Can’t breathe when I think about Shelbi and Asher carrying on without you..or any of us..I met you at a time in my life where I had lost everything and didn’t have much..You always stood 10 down for me..like no other id ever seen from day one..and that’s just who you were as a man..I never had any brothers until that point..I came into Flanders met you and Wes and Pops and Johnny and the rest of the boys..and it didn’t take long and we had a bond that would always be unbreakable..in life or death do us part..Ive seen you give the shirt off you’re back to the have nots..ive seen you stand up and protect those who didn’t have the courage or voice too themselves. I started to become the man..the father..the friend id always wanted to be..just watching how you moved thru the world. Ive never loved another man the way I do you and my brothers.
Accepted my short comings and always gave the kind of advice a father would give his own son. You made sure I felt apart of that family you had cultivated over a lifetime..I was their when youre own brother went to the lord..we had battles nobody would understand or heard about and we won..ill always look for you when giving my own son those same talks we had at 2am in random states knowing damn well we had work in 3 hours. Ill never forget you..bc you are apart of me forever now. My heart bleeds for you’re family and those that called you their friend. As long as im alive those boys and Shelbi wont meed to worry about being protected from this world..they will always have all of us ready to die over it at the drop of a hat..know damn well you’d do the same if the roles were reversed. I know youre in heaven right now..probably trying get Jesus to show you his weiner and arguing about making your’s bigger than his 😆. I love you man..as the tears roll down my face right now..I force a smile knowing you will live on in each and every person you touched along the way..Biggest regret ill have is I wasnt able to get their and tell you how much you mean to me and my family. But ill spend rest of my life telling my boy’s the story’s we had..the hell we raised..the day Johnny called me and told me you passed was by far the hardest day ive had since losing both my parents..but the craziest thing happend the very next morning..I found out Im gonna have another peanut on the way..the lord has way of taking one thing and giving you another..I like to think that was you up their fighting another battle for me..I love you P- Daddy..time has stopped..and eternity has begun. Until I see you again brother. 😭 🙏 ❤️
He loved and gave, with all of his heart.. and has always been there for his family and friends. He will always hold a special place in my family’s heart forever and will be dearly missed by all of us.
David and Sandra
He was the second born son, and I was the last born daughter. We had an age gap and he moved away from home before we had a chance to know each other. It didn’t matter though that we didn’t get to grow up together – I always knew that he loved me and that if I needed him he’d be there. He was my safety net and made the world feel a little safer.
Love you Brother.
Somewhere along the way, we went our separate ways and life got in the way. I’ll always regret not keeping in touch, but I’ll always be grateful for the time we had and the monitors we made.
Maybe one day our paths will cross again, and we’ll sit around and share some of those old stories like no time ever passed.
Until then, I’ll see ya on the flip side. Love ya brother, rest easy❤️
Rest peacefully. You will be remembered.
With love,
Christy & your niece, Hailey Verratti 🤍
