Nancy Sue Smith, born in Harlingen, Texas on September 30th, 1935, passed away on Sunday, July 26th, 2026. She is reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
Nancy, a retired realtor, was a long-term resident of Daingerfield, Texas and member of the First Baptist Church of Cason prior to moving to Austin, Texas.
Nancy is survived by her children, Carol Sue Dubose, Kevin Phillip Verney and wife Kelly Verney, Jo Anna Campos and husband Alex Campos, Felicia Clement and husband Kenny Clement, step-son Kevin Smith and step-daughter Tamara Boaz; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; siblings Doug Fletcher, Eva Brown, David Fletcher, Jonny Fletcher, and Karen Eggleston.
A visitation will be held at Horn Family Funeral Home, 400 Webb St, Daingerfield, Texas 75638, on Saturday, September 5th at noon followed by a memorial service at 1pm in the Chapel.
