Memorial services for Michael Bob "Mike" Hawkins 70 of Hughes Springs will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at H & H Farm in Hughes Springs with Bro. Dan McGuire officiating.Mike was born on January 8, 1951 in Hughes Springs to Milton L. "Tena" and Jessie Russell Hawkins. He died on Monday, August 16, 2021.He was a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church Hughes Springs. Mike was a graduate of Hughes Springs High School and Kilgore College before receiving his BS in Zoology from East Texas State University in Commerce. Mike worked at Texas Pipe Coupling (Wheeling Machine Products) from May 1, 1981, and retired after 37 plus years.He was preceded in death by his parents and devoted friend Molly.Survived by his wife Tammy Hawkins of Hughes Springs; son Cody Hawkins of Hughes Springs; sisters Mary John Russ of Mesquite and Patsy McClellan of Hughes Springs; uncle Wayne Russell of Hughes Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.In liew of flowers make donations to Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church, 11608 FM 130, Hughes Springs, Tx. 75656Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
