Lee Alan Williams, 62, son of Truitt and Peggy Williams, of Daingerfield, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Williams of Lone Star.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Luane Williams; his son, Jeffrey Williams and wife Krystal of Hallsville; his daughter, Jessica Williams of Daingerfield; two grandsons, Noah and Luke Williams of Hallsville; two step-sons, Brent Mattox of Texarkana, Bryan Mattox of Longview; his brother, Larry Williams of Lone Star; his sister and brother-in-law, Trudy and Mike Davis of Lone Star, several nieces, nephews and cousins; along with a birth brother and his wife, Johnny and Marisa Malone of south Texas.
Lee was a member of South Union Baptist Church in Jenkins. He took pleasure in fishing, deer hunting, visiting his grandsons, and playing with his Chihauhau pets. Throughout his life he was a practical joker and adept a smack talk, bringing laughter to those around him. He did not go unnoticed in a crowded room and could talk his way out of almost anything.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 2, 2026 in the Chapel of Horn Family Funeral Home in Daingerfield. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM prior to the service. A private interment will be held in Clark Cemetery.
