Services for David Earl "Pop" Rawls, 88 of Daingerfield will be 2 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at First Pentecostal Church in Daingerfield with Rev. Shane Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.David was born on February 21, 1933 in Dekalb to Johnny and LuLu Rawls. He died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.He was a member of First Pentecostal Church and retired from Lone Star Steel. David also worked as the crossing guard for Daingerfield ISD.He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Rawls, son Tony Rawls and great granddaughter Jadyn Rawls.Survived by his son Darren Rawls and wife Diann of Daingerfield; daughter Kristi Ramage of Daingerfield; sisters Betty Clounch and husband James of Avery, Virginia Herron and husband Steve of Mountain Home, Ark.; brother Donald Rawls and wife Ernestine of Texarkana, Ark.; grandchildren Tony Ramage, Cole Ramage, Derik Rawls, Dustin Rawls, Delaney Rawls, Jason Rawls; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 5 till 7 P.M. Kristi and Darren, my heart goes out to you in the loss of your sweet dad. It is so hard to lose a parent. I know yall have lots of precious memories. Your dad was so sweet, friendly and kind. I always enjoyed talking to him. He will sure be missed around Daingerfield. I’m keeping yall in my thoughts and prayers. Love you and iove your precious mom too.
