Mary Ann Darden

Mary Ann Darden was born on June 5, 1953 in Hereford to Joe Bob and Annas Colleen Darden. She passed away on Monday evening, January 16, 2023 at her residence. Mary was a member of South Union Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully loved her Lord, her family and her church. She was a worshiper and a warrior. She was a faithful member of the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. She loved her job at Windsor Place Nursing Home in Daingerfield. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Stacey Darden of Lone Star; two grandchildren, Alley and CJ Darden as well as one expected to arrive in April; one sister, Donna Griffin and husband Dennis of Talco; one brother, Joe Darden of Sulphur Springs as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A celebration of life for Mary Ann will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 20, 2023 at South Union Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery in Jenkins under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the funeral home.
