Graveside services for Eva J. Lindley- Brown, 84, of Mount Pleasant, will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 16, 2022 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the funeral home. Eva was born on August 13, 1938 in Gilmer to J.E. and Maybell Brookshire. She passed away on Monday night, September 12, 2022 at her residence. Eva was a homemaker and worked in the Daingerfield Junior High and High School Cafeteria's through the years. She loved her family and enjoyed fishing and cooking. She was known for her chocolate pies. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cason. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, Eva was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Hershel Lindley in 1993 and Myron Brown in 2015; daughter, LaDonna Capps; and grandson, Casey Lindley. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Kimble of Mount Pleasant; son, Jerry Lindley and wife Patsy of Daingerfield; grandchildren, Misty Hughes, Jason Harville, Josh Kimble and wife Kassie, Shelby Lindley and wife Morgan; great grandchildren, Isabella Kimble, Dylan Kimble, Kynlee Kimble, Skyler Lindley, Maybreigh Lindley, Rylee Lindley, Lucas Lindley, Blaine Runage, Mason Harville, Jason Harville, Jr., Chelsea Hughes, Joseph Harville; one great great grandson Atlas Harville; sisters, Earline Alford of Mesquite and Reba Cummings of Ward, AR. . The family asks that memorials be made in honor of Eva's memory to: Heart To Heart Hospice, 203 West 20th Suite A, Mount Pleasant, TX 75455. They would like to offer a special "thank you" to Ashley Miller, RN, who provided so much care, love and attention during her final days.
