Geraldine TurnerDaingerfield- Services for Geraldine Turner, 92 of Daingerfield will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ with Kenny Shaver officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Geraldine was born on March 7, 1925 in Morris County to Clenton and Winnie Lou Nix and died on Friday, January 26, 2018 in Hughes Springs.She was a member of Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ.Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Turner, brothers Waple Dee Nix and Winford Nix, sisters Jean Bonds and Merleen Nix.Survived by daughter Patty Traxler and husband Mike of Punta Banda Mexico; son Jimmy Turner of Daingerfield; grandchildren Chris Traylor of Castro Valley, Ca.; Curtis and Monica Traylor of Daingerfield; 3 great-grandchildrenFamily will receive friends from 1 till service time at the church.Online condolences may be made at nail-HaggardFH.com

    Had not seen Geraldine for a long time. When in East Texas there was so little time to visit my family and friends. Used to love to go to Merleen’s when Jean and Geraldine would be there. There was always laughter. The laughter has stopped but the wonderful memories remain. Hold on to those memories.God bless you Patty and Jimmy and your families in your loss.
