Jerry Lee GarrettDaingerfield- Funeral services for Jerry Lee Garrett, 78 of Omaha will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in the Omaha Cemetery.Jerry was born on May 21, 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Frank and Florence Garrett and died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Gallup, New Mexico.He retired from Texas Utility Mining Company.Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Pat Weber and Nancy Howard, son David Wayne Garrett.Survived by his wife Cathy Garrett of Omaha; daughters and son-in-law Cheryl and Freddy Joyner of Omaha, Linda Landrum of Waxahachie; sister and brother-in-law Mandy and Jim Shortina; grandchildren Karla Mayben, Stephanie Joyner, Julie Moore, Jennifer Hill, Megan Bryant, Tyler Garrett ,Christy Vissering, Billy Joyner and Ben Landrum; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 1 till 2 Sunday at the funeral home.

Cathy & girls: sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I’ll always remember his laugh & jolly attitude when he worked for Fred. That’s been years ago but a good memory of him.
