W. E. GENE SMITH Daingerfield - Graveside services for W. E. Gene Smith, 83, of Daingerfield will be held 2 P.M. Saturday April 2, 2011 at Snow Hill Cemetery with Dr. Tim Wade officiating. Mr. Smith was born October 17, 1927 in Hughes Springs and died March 30, 2011 in Longview. He was a member of First Baptist Church, veteran of the US Army. He was a retired truck driver for over 48yrs. Mr. Smith was proceeded in death by his wife Eloise Smith & son Ricky Smith.He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Cynthia & David Hardin of Daingerfield,son and daughter in law, Stephen & Amy Smith of Joshua, TX.; sister Margaret Keel of Daingerfield; Four grandchildren; Josh Hardin, Drew Hardin, Shea Smith; great-grandchildren; Taylor Nealy, Isabella Grider, Maddox Hardin, Addison Grider, Miles Hardin, Hunter Hardin & Jaxon Nealy.
