February 8, 1972 ~ October 18, 2023

Will was born February 8, 1972, and gained his “I Can Only Imagine” moment early Wednesday morning, October 18, 2023. Will was a 1990 graduate of Pittsburg High School and furthered his education at The University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, and Texas A&M, Commerce, TX. Will was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Geneva Stone, and our first fur babies, Bella and Doodlebugg. Will is survived by his wife, Steffanie Stone; son, Allen Stone; son, Cross Stone; mother and father-in-law, Cyndi and Robert Allen; sister-in-law, Halie Allen; sister, Weida Borkowski and husband Steve; brother, Eugene Stone; many additional close family and friends, and he is dearly missed by our fur babies, Tia and Freyja. In 1999, he married his loving wife, Steffanie Stone. They began their life together in his hometown of Pittsburg, where he began his career in Food Safety and Service with Pilgrim’s Pride. Pilgrim’s would open the door to world wide travel, international jobs, and lead him to his ultimate goal of working with the government in the USDA. Will prioritized God, family, and friends. He was passionate about his boys. Will never gave up an opportunity to learn something new with them, teach and grow them into good men, watch them play, or have a good laugh. He was always an example of embracing joy in every day. After all, he will always be… Livin’ the Dream. A Celebration of his Life will be held at Hope Fellowship, Prosper Campus, Prosper, Texas on Sunday, February 18, at 3:30 PM till 5:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to raicestexas.org.

  1. I worked with Will and interacted with him professionally for years. I absolutely loved his easy-going personality that made work life so much fun and more enjoyable. I can just imagine him wearing those backward hats of his and his Texas twang telling us ‘it’s gonna be fine’. Sending much love and prayers to his family and friends at this difficult time.

  2. I just learned of Will’s passing and I am shocked and saddened. Will was one of those people who truly lit up a room. He was a person who made you feel instantly at ease. I don’t think he ever knew a stranger. I would often hear about his two boys and what they were doing with sports and school. I am lifting his loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. Will had a tremendous heart and he will be greatly missed.
