Walter David Terrell, Sr.Daingerfield- Funeral services for Walter David Terrell. Sr.,78, of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.David was born November 16, 1934 in DeKalb and died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Plano.David was a member of First Baptist Church and served as a Deacon of the church. He was also a member of the Gideon's. David retired from Lone Star Steel.Preceded in death by his wife Barbara.Survived by his daughters, Lois Terrell of The Woodlands, Carolyn Freeman and husband Mark of Garland; sons, David Terrell, Jr. and wife Karen of Daingerfield, Joe Terrell of Athens, Greece; brother, Louis Terrell of DeKalb and sister, Lucille Hodgson of Texarkana; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.   1. Our thoughts are of the many good memories of both David and Barbara through the years and especially of our days in school together at James Bowie High School. We all graduated in 1953. I have especially enjoyed the visits I have had with David over our fish lunch with some of our high school colleagues. Bless each of you in your loss.
