Veronica Vasquez Folmar

Veronica Vasquez-Folmar, 38 years old of Daingerfield, TX passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Christus Mother Francis Hospital surrounded by family. Veronica was born on September 17, 1985 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her and her immediate family moved to Lone Star, TX in 1988 and she graduated at Daingerfield High School in 2004. She was the youngest of 3 children and cherished her relationships with her big brother and sister, Ruben and Imelda. She met the love of her life, Jason Folmar, in 2003, and got married on October 8th, 2005. They welcomed their pride and joy, Isabel Marie Folmar into this world together on July 14, 2007. Veronica, also known to her loved ones as Noni, enjoyed all things music, entertainment, makeup, video games, reading and coloring. Anyone who knew Veronica, had been touched with her sweetness and kind soul. She welcomed everyone into her life and considered many of her friends, her daughter's friends and surrounding peers as her familia. She found the beauty in all things and always radiated positivity to whoever she was speaking with. She was a dedicated mother, daughter, spouse, sister and aunt and will be missed dearly. She is reunited in heaven by her big brother Ruben Vasquez Jr. her in-laws, Donald and Sheri Folmar, by her grandparents, Manuel Rivera and Trinidad Rivera, and Eusebio Vasquez and Eugenia Moreno Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jason; her daughter, Isabel; her parents, Ruben and Maria Vasquez; her dog best friend, Layla Rose Folmar; her sister, Imelda Vasquez-Davidson and husband Shaun Davidson; her nieces, Ashley Sumners and Haley Davidson-Hutchins; her nephews, Jacob Hutchins and James Murphy and her great nephews, River Hutchins and Maverick Murphy. A celebration of Veronica's life will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 25, 2023 in the Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Darby and Jeffrey Stirl officiating. Veronica will lie in state from 3-5 PM Friday, November 24, at the funeral home. Honoring her requests, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Horn Family at Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield.
