Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel.Thomas Ray was born on April 27, 1933 in Omaha, Texas to Audie James and Annie Cleora Stevens. He died on Friday, July 25, 2014 at his home in Daingerfield.Thomas Ray was a veteran of the U S Air Force and was retired from Lone Star Steel where he was a masonry supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grand son, Dillon Dean.Survived by his wife, Betty Stevens of Daingerfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Jeff Chatham, Jan and Eddie Eller and Susan Stevens all of Daingerfield; grandchildren, Chris Spencer, Chase Matkin and Summer McEntire; great grandchildren, Kendall Spencer, McKenzie Spencer, Ashtyn Dean, Silver Ray McEntire, Stormie Lummus and Skyla Lummus.
