Saturday, September 17, 2016 at South Union Baptist Church with Bro Chad Thompson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Thomas was born on November 13, 1927 to Thomas Nugent and Emma Loys Hughes Lee and died September 11, 2016 in Texarkana, Texas.He was retired from Lone Star Steel after 35 years of service, was a member of South Union Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U S Army serving during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Anita, grandson Joshua Andrew Lee; brothers Jimmy Wayne Lee, John Troyce Lee, Clifford Lee , and Leahmon Lavoia Lee; sisters Sarah Knesek and Frances SchleabachSurviving are sons and daughter-in-law Terry and Lorie Lee of Daingerfield, Randy Lee of Houston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Pam and Kenny Shackleford of Texarkana Arkansas; brothers Robert E. Lee of Oklahoma City, OK and Royce Lee of Commerce, Texas; sisters Anna Glidden and Goldie Lee Landrum both of Houston, Tx.; grandchildren Jennifer Oldham, Lynn and Alex Bejarano-Carlile, Todd and Callie Lee, Seth Lee; great grandchildren Gabi Miller, Logan Miller and Ariana Bejarano-Carlile; numerous nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 2:00 till service time on Saturday
