Thelma Horton - Woodall

Funeral services for Thelma Horton - Woodall, 91, of Texarkana, formerly of Daingerfield will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Nevills Chapel Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will follow in Nevills Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Woodall was born on September 28, 1931 in Delta County to A.V. and Eune Hartgrove and passed away on Monday morning, December 12, 2022 in a Texarkana nursing facility. She loved flowers of all kinds and enjoyed gardening in her younger years. She was a homemaker, loved to cook, enjoyed a good game of dominos and 42. She especially loved her family. Mrs. Woodall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cason. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother, she was preceded in death by her parents; first husband of 23 years, James Horton; her second husband of 42 years, B.A. "Woody" Woodall; and two daughters, Phyllis Grinage and Bobbi Hawkins. Those left to cherish her memories are, daughters, Patti Clark of Arlington, Judy Damron and husband Clyde of Dimmitt; grandchildren, Andy Flood and wife Cheryl, Adam Grinage and significant other Jason, Keith Grinage and wife Naomi, Marcy Bloomfield and husband Bert, Mindy Gennings and husband Brian, J.C. Humphrey, Cliff Humphrey, Tracy Damron and husband Paul, Justin Damron and wife Maggie; 11 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren and brother, Weldon Hartgrove of Killeen.
