Tajerian Deshaun Parker

Tajerian Deshaun Parker, 14, of Pritchett was born on November 20, 2009 in Longview. He passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday afternoon, October 9, 2024 at his home. Tajerian attended school in Gladewater. He loved traveling, camping and the water. He lit up when he would see lights. Often underestimated, Tajerian could control just about every situation he was in. He was a proven fighter and fought to live every day on earth right up until his joined his savior where he will live for eternity. Tajerian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Hines and his paternal step grandfather, Paw Paw Cleon Sayles. Those left to cherish his memories include his parents, Roderick Parker of Ore City and Nichole Lara of Pritchett; sisters, Victoria and Luci; brothers, Mejinta Trevon, Brayton, Devon, Cajay, Cameron, Antonio; paternal grandmother, Janet Lynn Sayles; maternal grandparents, Karin Kirkwood, Martin and Konnie Brand, and Terry Hooks. They would also like to offer a special heartfelt thank you to Shandra Finch, Harold Angel and all of the other nurses that offered their faithful love and care to Tajerian throughout his life. A celebration of Tajerian's life will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Church of the Nazarene in Gilmer with Pastor Chance Henson officiating. Services have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield.
