Sylvia Billey
Sylvia Billey
July 10, 1973 ~ June 9, 2024
Celebrating the life of Sylvia Pearl, 50, who left her earthly body behind with her family on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, at sunset.
She leaves behind memories of open and abundant love, radical self-acceptance, stopping the car to take pictures of flowers on the side of the highway, singing Celine Dion while she cleaned, dancing anywhere she was, spending hours in thrift stores, and saying “no more animals” just to start feeding another stray.
She is survived by her four sisters, Esther, Marcie, Becca, & Theresa; her four children, April, Zackary, Jess, & Oliver; her two granddaughters, Elizabeth & Gabby; an entire family that was cherished by her; many friends that will never forget her; and the poetry she wrote:
The wind chimes singing
The caterpillar strolling along
I gave him a pet
He was as soft as the bird song
Floating on the air so sweet
Like the rain pattering along
A little SunShine peeks in
Bright and luminous
Shining Faces
My Heart’s
Winter’s Zen
A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, July 10th, at her home.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield.
