Graveside services for Sherry Lin Collard 72 of Daingerfield will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Veal Switch Cemetery with Bro. Michael Roberts officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Sherry was born on October 31, 1948 to C. E. "Pee Wee" and Dolly Wallace. She died on Thursday, February 4, 2021.She was a lifetime member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. Sherry was the owner of Robin's Beauty Salon where she was a beautician. She also was an insurance agent for Germania Insurance Company.Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rex Collard, sons David Ray Collard and Darrell Wayne Collard.Survived by her daughter Dana Owens and fiancé Dave Ortego of Daingerfield; brothers Dois and Charline Wallace of Daingerfield, Charles and Kim Wallace of Daingerfield, Jay and Laura Wallace of Omaha; sister Robin and Dale Reichert of Naples; sister Mary and Gerald Sims of Daingerfield; grandchildren Allen Ray Owens, Harley Collard and Weston Collard; great granddaughter Tatum Logan; several nieces and nephews.There will be no public visitation.Please social distance and wear your masks at the service.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFh.com

We often called each other and the last time we spoke she had fallen and did not feel well, her last words were that we would talk when she felt better, she had a doctor appointment seeking wellness. My heart aches for knowing I will not receive that phone call now. My prayers are for peace and comfort for all who loved her. Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
