Ruby Childree ClayDaingerfield- Funeral services for Ruby Childree Clay, 100 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Norman Miller and Tim Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery in Cason.Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Ruby was born October 11, 1913 in Rocky Branch to Walter and Essie Carr. She died Monday, March 24, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and a retired nurse.Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Tommie Childree and George Clay, brothers Jimmy Carr and Merrill Carr, sisters Ora Green and Faye Chapman.Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tommy Ronald and Grace Childree of Sachse; daughters and sons-in-law Thelma Joyce Coats of Naples, Gayle and Jim Queen of Bossier City, La. and Peggy and Sammy Bougeus of Jackson, La.; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
