Robert Earl (Bob) Russell, 61 of Hughes Springs was born on March 4, 1959 in Daingerfield to James Earl (Toby) and Betty Jean Russell. He died on Saturday, April 4, 2020.Bob was a member of Hughes Springs Church of Christ, a Shriner and a Master Mason.He also was a rancher. Bob graduated from Daingerfield High School, class of 1977 and studied at Kilgore College.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survived by his wife Rona Russell of Hughes Springs; children Jessica Thompson and husband David, Matthew Russell and wife Anna, Rachel Haggard and husband Caylor, Sarah Russell and husband Timothy Swanner and Brice Russell; step son Keath Lattery and wife Kari; sisters Sandy Russell Atkinson and Debbie Russell Lee and husband Larry; 13 grandchildren. Numerous other family members.Family asks that donations be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, Fl. 33607.Considering current restrictions on gatherings, there are will be no service at this time.
