Private graveside services for Robert Connor "Bob" West 89 of Daingerfield were held at the Daingerfield Cemetery on Monday, August 2, 2021. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Bob was born on May 27, 1932 in Nashville, Tenn. To Arthur C. and Alene Connor West. He died on Thursday, July 29, 2021.He was a Methodist and Veteran of the U S Airforce. Bob retired as a Security Guard from Lone Star Steel. He was a graduate of Daingerfield ISD and East Texas State University in Commerce. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, step daughter Sharon Johnson and grandson Ethan Draper.Survived by his wife Ida West of Daingerfield; sons Robert West of Yucaipa, CA. and Ronnie West of Azur, CA.; grand daughters Katherine Watson of Ohio and Clarissa West of Utah; step children Joe Draper of Daingerfield, Janina Gressman of Daingerfield and Diann Heath of Livingston; 9 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
