Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Richard was born on December 6, 1921 in Morris County to Rodney Benson and Era Brantley. He died on Thursday, November 23, 2017.He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ, served in the merchant Marines and worked as a truck driver and antique dealer.Survived by his son Richard Benson " Benny" Brantley of Mesquite; daughter Darnell Moore of Edgewood; sister Dorothy Faye Miller of Dallas; grandchildren Jason Brantley,Slade Watson and Jeffery Bain; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
