Ray C. Marlar Daingerfield- Services for Ray C. Marlar, 84 of Daingerfield will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Ray was born April 29, 1930 in Hope, Arkansas and died on Friday, July 18, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. He was a Baptist, retired from Lone Star Steel as a crane operator and a member of United Steelworkers of America Union # 4134.Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marlar.Survived by his daughter Vickie Walker of Daingerfield; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Eva Marlar of Omaha; 7 grandchildren, Ginger and Tommy Casey, Robbie Chambliss, Kyle and Jeanette Chambliss, Chet and Elizabeth Marlar, Casey and Nola Marlar, Chase and Kristie Marlar, Catherine Cox and 18 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 9 till 10 Tuesday at the funeral home
