Patricia Rimmer

Ms. Rimmer was born on August 5, 1972. She passed away on January 7, 2024 in a Tyler hospital. It is with heavy hearts that we share her greatest accomplishments that brought her immense pride throughout her life. Patricia's unwavering determination and hard work allowed her to fulfill a cherished childhood dream of owning her own home. From a young age, she held onto this aspiration and it served as a testament to her resilience and perseverance. Additionally, Patricia found profound joy and fulfillment in the role of a mother. She dedicated herself to raising her daughters and took great pride in nurturing Jaylin Rimmer, her beloved child. Patricia's love and guidance played an instrumental role in shaping Jaylin's character and future. Furthermore, Patricia embraced the opportunity to help raise her stepchildren, extending her love and care to them as if they were her own. These accomplishments were not only sources of personal fulfillment for Patricia but also reflections of her unwavering dedication to her family and her unyielding spirit. As we honor her memory, let us remember the profound impact she had on those closest to her and celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She is survived by her mother Kathy Steele; daughters, Camila Hamkin and Jaylin Rimmer; Step children, Shawn Modisette, Jessica Modisette, and Brittany Modisette; Siblings, April Steele, Joey Steele and wife Naomi; Nieces and Nephews, Harlee Ann Steele, Shelby Steele, Josiah Steele, and Corey Steele. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10 A.M. in the chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
