  5. Betty Walker Williamson says:

I check the website every few days to see if I have lost a friend or relative. Mackie, I know you three girls were very close and I know how you all spoiled Sonny. I send you my prayers and condolences. We are all getting closer to meeting our maker and that is a good thing. All we take with us is the life we have lived and the love we have shared and you all shared a lot. Would be there in person but can no longer drive down but I am there with you in spirit.

  9. To Teresa, Tammy and the Extended Family of Odie Mae Harris; with deepest regrets and condolences and abiding respect…….I was Blessed to get to meet Mrs. Harris and get to know her over 45 years ago at South Union Missionary Baptist Church.I knew then as I know now that she was one of the Finest Human Beings that I would ever meet and become friends with. You always knew what You were going get when you spoke to Mrs. Harris; the same witty, positive, pleasant woman that she was the last time that you spoke to her. It did not matter if it had only been two weeks or if it had been 20 years; She was always the same…….I can honestly say that I never heard Mrs. Harris speak a bad word about anyone, ever……And, I can tell you that I am a better person for having met and gotten to know and love Mrs. Harris…….I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. But, in my heart and soul I know that she is in a better place than any of us are…….My life will be a little more lonely after her passing. For at least 40 years, every time that I would see or talk to Teresa, I would ask her about her Mother….. And, Teresa would give me a message from her Mother or fill me in and tell me what was going on with her Mother…… I already miss that……To live in hearts that we leave behind is not to die……May God Be With You All Now And In The Difficult Days Ahead……May The Lord Bless You And Keep You….. May The Lord Make His Face To Shine Upon You And Be Gracious Unto You…… May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon You And Give You Peace………. Amen……Submitted With Love And The Greatest Respect,Matthew Lanagan
