Monitte Hull

Monitte Gray Johnson Hull, 78 of Daingerfield passed away June 11, 2025, in a Daingerfield nursing facility. She was born, September 14, 1946, in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Clive Hugh Johnson and Mary Nell Gainey Johnson. Monitte was born in North Carolina but was raised in Akron, Ohio. Her biological mom passed away when Monitte was just 20 days old. The mother that raised her was Marlene Yebram Whitmore. Monitte graduated from Kenmore High School in Kenmore, Ohio in 1964. She received her Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Southern Ohio College and worked as a computer programmer. She was married to her husband, James Hull for 36 years. Some of her hobbies were reading her favorite romance novels, shopping, homesteading, animals and plants. She was interested in political and world events, participated in charitable events and was active in animal rescue. She is preceded in death by her parents; mother, Marlene Yebram Whitmore; son, Andrew Russell. She is survived by her husband, James Hull; daughter, Ramona Russell Harouff and husband William, sons, Gerald Raymond Russell, Brent Edward Russell and wife Mandy, Jason Oliver Russell and wife Jackie Carroll; sisters, Michele Harrison, Meloney Glover, Marcia Bryan, Carol and Clive Jr.; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 5 cats. No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
