Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Tim Gibbs and Norman Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Mike was born September 8, 1944 in Gilmer and died Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Longview.He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ. Mike was formally employed at Brown and Root and Delta Fabrication. He was a member of the NRA.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence D. and Orena Walker and his brother, T.C. Walker.Survived by his wife, Vickie Walker of Daingerfield; daughters & sons-in-law, Wendy & Clay Keith of Lindale, Ginger & Tommy Caskey of Iowa Park; sons & daughters-in-law, Jeremy Walker of Dallas, Robby & Ashley Chambliss of Daingerfield, and Kyle & Jeannette Chambliss of Boston, Ma.; 8 grandchildren, Kaen Keasler, Gage Fuaquay, Carley & Brady Chambliss, Ember & Kelsey Chambliss, Miles & Marley Keith.   10. Mike “Boone” Walker. He got his nickname because of his love of hunting and the outdoors. He was a good friend from elementary school and church, and then through high school and on to Kilgore College. Lots of memories with him, playing out in the woods as kids…barefooted. He had feet like leather!

  13. I really enjoyed working with Mike when I was Payroll manager at Delta(he use to give me a hard time every payday but that was Mike..haha). I am so sorry for your loss I know he will be greatly missed. My family and church are praying for your family during this difficult time.
