  1. Martha was a dear friend throughout my life. We grew up together and remained friends after we both married. Her father and mother were pillars of the church that I attended. They helped me and inspired me. Martha had a wonderful, spunky personality. We missed her so much at our 65th class reunion last week. She was a bright light and we all loved her. May God comfort you as you grieve your loss. Knowing Martha’s strong Christian faith will make it easier for you, for you know that she is now with our Lord in a place of peace and love.
She was proud of her three children. I send each of you my best wishes.

  2. I have had the privilege of knowing Martha since the seventh grade which was about 1952. She is one of the sweetest and nicest girl/lady that I have ever known. She comes from a wonderful family. Her dad was my Little League baseball coach – a true gentleman. And, I played ball with her brother, Billy. Her mother was a very nice person also. The Class of ’57 will surely miss Martha. My condolences to all of her family. J. Rex King

  3. Martha was a classmate of mine and also of my husband. She had a charming smile and fun sense of humor. I’m sure you who were her family will miss her greatly because of her caring spirit. Please accept our condolences.

  8. To all of Martha’s Family: I was a classmate of Martha’s from grade school all the way through our high school graduation in 1957. Martha’s Mom and Dad opened their home to a host of kids, whether it was a slumber party for the girls (we always made fudge) or working on a campaign for Student Council. I remember we took the Mickey Mouse song and changed it to Martha’s campaign song. Many summer days were spent watching Little League Baseball together with friends.. Her Dad coached and her brother and numerous friends played. Martha was always a kind, thoughtful friend and a pleasure to be around. Her smile could light up the room.. We, her friends, feel your loss and pray that God’s good Grace will give you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Betty Jo Comer Heim
