Marilu Alpizar ~ Lopez

Marilu Alpizar~ Lopez, 50, of Ore City was born on September 24, 1973 in Mexico City, Mexico to Salômôn Alpizar ~ Mûnos. She was a homemaker and loved so many things in life. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and baking. Singing and dancing were some of her favorite things to do. She was a member of the Catholic Church and had a heart for serving. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield where she was a member of the choir, read lectures and taught the CCD Sunday Class. She was very involved with Cursillistas. Above all she loved her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; one Son Sebastian Lopez; and one brother David Alpizar. She is survived by her children, Lizbeth Sebastian and husband Pancho of Gilmer, Javier Lopez and fiancé, Dulce Sanchez of Ore City; grandchildren, David Sebastian, Erick Sebastian, Emma Sebastian, Panchito Sebastian, Melissa Sebastian all of Gilmer; and brother, Guadencio Alpizar as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield with Father Eugene Tillerkante officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Pines Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield. Marilú Alpizar~ López, de 50 años, de Ore City, nació el 24 de septiembre de 1973 en la Ciudad de México, México, hija de Salômôn Alpizar ~ Mûnos. Era ama de casa y amaba muchas cosas en la vida. Le gustaba hacer ganchillo, coser y hornear. Cantar y bailar eran algunas de sus actividades favoritas. Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica y tenía un corazón para servir. Asistió a la iglesia católica de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en Daingerfield, donde fue miembro del coro, leyó conferencias y enseñó la clase dominical de CCD. Estuvo muy involucrada con los cursillistas. Por encima de todo, amaba a sus hijos. Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres; un hijo, Sebastián López; y un hermano, David Alpizar. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Lizbeth Sebastian y su esposo Pancho de Gilmer, Javier López y su prometida, Dulce Sánchez de Ore City; nietos, David Sebastián, Erick Sebastián, Emma Sebastián, Panchito Sebastián, Melissa Sebastián, todos de Gilmer; y su hermano, Guadencio Alpízar, así como varios sobrinos y sobrinas. Se llevará a cabo una Misa de Entierro Cristiano a las 11 a.m., el miércoles 20 de marzo de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en Daingerfield con el Padre Eugene Tillerkante oficiando. El entierro se realizará en el cementerio de Nuestra Señora de los Pinos. Se rezará un Rosario a las 6:00 p.m., el martes 19 de marzo de 2024 en la funeraria Horn-Nail-Haggard en Daingerfield.
