Lucretia "Crickett" ForrestDaingerfield- Funeral services for Lucretia " Crickett" Forrest, 91 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Don Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral home.Crickett was born June 25, 1922 in Paris, Texas and died Monday, December 9, 2013 in Daingerfield.She was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 906 in Daingerfield. Crickett was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 1890. She was a former supervisor of Malouf's Manufactory.Survived by her son Joe Forrest and wife Diane Simpson of Daingerfield; daughter, Pam Spann and husband George of Daingerfield; grandson, Yancy Forrest and Anne Robinson of Houston, granddaughters, Karen Ostergaard and husband Erik of Asheville, NC, Jennifer Parks and husband Paul of Austin, Sydney Spann of Austin; great granddaughters, Greta Ostergaard of Asheville, NC and Charlie Parks of Austin.Family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home







Joe and Pam, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your Mother . Crickett was an amazing woman and she so loved her family. May all of your many memories, your family, friends, and faith help you through the coming days. Heaven certainly gained a wonderful new angel and bright shining star! So sorry to hear of your loss. When I worked at Irvin Hardware, I have fond memories of my service to Cricket and family. She always had that warm smile and sweet disposition. Sorry I can’t be in attendance.. May God comfort you now and forever.
