Lorene Howell Griggs DAINGERFIELD - Services for Lorene Howell Griggs, 97, of Lone Star willbe held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Snow Hill Baptist Church withRev. Dan Hill & Rev. Robert Norris officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Mrs. Griggs was born July 6, 1913 in Morris County and died November 24,2010 in Hughes Springs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lone Star &attended Snow Hill Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Ada Pollan Logan; son,Franklin Howell; brothers, Robert , & Otis Logan; sisters, Mable Graham, & Marie; husbands, Ab Howell, Joe Rhodes, & Lloyd Griggs.Survivors include 2 nieces, Pattie Rose Abercrombia, & Robbie Lynn Yerkeyof Louisiana; 2 grandchildren.Visitation will be 10 am til 11 am Monday at the church prior to service.

Aunt Lorene, I will miss your wonderful pickles and that beautiful smile. Even though I have not seen you in such a long time you have never been far from my mind. You made my Uncle Joe so happy. Rest in Peace Aunt Lorene you will never be forgotten. Love You Teresa
