Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ with Kenny Shaver officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Lewis was born October 2, 1936 in Gilmer and died Friday, April 05, 2013 in Longview.Lewis was a member of Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ where he was the song leader for many years. He worked as a mechanic for IMS and T&N.He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Jones. Survived by his wife, Bonnie Byrd Jones of Lone Star; daughter, Linda Huggins of Ft. Worth; sons, Lewis Jones, Jr. of Midlothian, Alvin Jones, Larry Jones, and Tony Jones all of Lone Star; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
