My Leroy
God joined us together on March 17, 1962 and temporarily separated us on August 31, 2023. Over these 61 years we experienced a journey through many valleys but regained strength from the mountaintop joys our Lord brought us to. We were blessed with four daughters, a son, grandson, and a great-granddaughter. Leroy was a hard worker - a great provider. We never experienced riches this world could bring, but when we added it all up, we were as rich as we would be this side of Heaven.
O how I miss my Leroy, and I realize right now the journey looks hard - but my God is sufficient and the prayers of my family, church family and friends will see me thru. I have no doubt for I sense His faithfulness to keep promises made long ago for myself and my family - this is all my Lord's plan and I wouldn't change it for anything - God's been good, is good, for always.
A loving husband and father, Mr. Worsham was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Effie Worsham; brother, Bud Worsham and wife Janelle; sister; Lena Mae Fuller and husband Halley; nephews, Cole Fuller, Mac Fuller; mother-in-law, Iva Dee Smith and husband, Luther, and brother-in-law, L.W. (Dubb). Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 61 years, Peggy Worsham; daughters, Rhonda Dawes, Darla Kay Worsham and friend Mikal Thomas, Kristi Barrickman and wife Wendy; children, Devin Worsham, Nicole Swearingen and husband Jordan; grandchildren, Dale Dawes and Hinsley Worsham; sister, Darlene Williams as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
