Kerry Wayne CarpenterDaingerfield- Services for Kerry Wayne Carpenter, 70 of Daingerfield will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Kerry was born on December 2, 1946 to Jesse Roy and Eula Frances Carpenter. He died on Saturday, November 4, 2017.He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant and veteran of the U S Army. Kerry worked for Surratt and Kennington Body Shop in Mt. Pleasant and was also a dump truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James "Sonny" Carpenter, Roger Dale Carpenter and Jerry Carpenter; sisters, Wanda June Carpenter and Dorothy Carpenter.Survived by daughter and son-in-law Erica and Joe Miller of Daingerfield; sister patricia Freeman of Cookville; grandchildren Zowie Marie Miller, David Joe Miller and Jesse Rey Miller all of Daingerfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. I was Kerry’s age and lived across the street from this family for many years. A wonderful family and Kerry was a very good child. I know that he will be greatly missed. I am sorry for the loss and prayers for the family to find peace and know that God is taking care of him and will see you all thru this.
