Kerry Arnold Walker, 63 of Pittsburg passed away on December 11, 2020.A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Clark Cemetery in Jenkins.Kerry was born on October 2, 1957 to Jerry and Waldine Walker. He graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1976. Kerry graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelors of Education. He went on to become a coach and teacher to many. He was the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal for Royce City High School from which he retired in 2012.Kerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He touched the lives of many kids and fellow coaches all over the area. He was a fantastic coach, mentor, and his words of wisdom will not be forgotten.Kerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry (Sugg) and Estelle Harris, Lester and Minnie Walker.He is survived by his wife Ruthanne Walker of Pittsburg; son Kip Walker and wife Samantha of Cedar Park; parents Jerry and Waldine Walker of Pittsburg; grandchildren Andy Walker, Jaycee Cutler, Hagen Cutler, Jack Young, Cole Young, Dean Young and Molly Hoover. Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Baptist Youth Fund.We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at UT Health Pittsburg, Dr. Rodney Burrow and East Texas Hospice.There will be no public visitation.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com

Doyle would have been 62 last week. I remember when they were babies and we were so proud of our boys. Kerry left his legacy with the children he taught and coached. How we live our lives is all that we can leave the world and by reading of how people felt about Kerry, you and Jerry did a wonderful job as parents. Love and miss seeing you.
