Kennith Wayne Jordan was born on June 13th, 1947, in Gilmer, Texas to Gordon and Juanita Jordan. He passed away early Saturday morning at his home on January 27th, 2024. A lifetime Daingerfield resident, Kennith was a 1965 graduate of Daingerfield High School. He would go on to take classes at Kilgore College before entering the workforce.
Throughout the years he worked at Glass Chevrolet, T&N Warehouse, Lone Star Steel, and Industrial Electric Motor Co. where he would retire. Kennith had many passions; he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. In his free time, he enjoyed playing 42 Dominoes. He cherished the memories of playing with his grandchildren. His greatest passions lie with his family. He would look forward to family reunions and spending time with those that he loved and cared for most.
Kennith was a servant of the Lord and was a lifetime member of the Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church. He loved to use the gifts that God gave him and was very involved in the activities of the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Gordon and Juanita Jordan; and his first wife, Judy Jordan. Kennith is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jordan; children; Christi Jordan, Shelley Gregson & Terry Don, Kenny Jordan and wife Leah; Step-children, Brandi Mathis & husband Russell, Michael Fleet; grandchildren, Trent Gregson, Erin Gregson, Liam Jordan, Benjamin Jordan, Lucas Jordan, Wren & Michaela Mathis; sister, Margaret Clark; niece, Stacey Tigert; great niece, Jordan Tigert; and Aunt, Moselene Garrett.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, January 31, from 6 - 8 PM in the Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church on Thursday, February 1, at 2 O'clock in the afternoon.
