Jonvil "Vil" Frazier

Homegoing services for Jonvil "Vil" Frazier, 42, of Cason will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Daingerfield High School Auditorium. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Cason under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. Mr. Frazier will lie in state from Noon to 5:00 PM on Friday, August, 12, 2022 at the funeral home located at 400 Webb St. in Daingerfield. Jonvil Frazier was born on May 13, 1980, to the parentage of EnSandra Frazier and the late Kenneth Smith. Jonvil stepped into heaven on August 4, 2022. He received his formal education from the Mount Pleasant School District, where he graduated as a member of the 1999 Senior Class. Jonvil embarked on a journey of love with Ms. Marshe't Hawkins. Along this journey, three beautiful and loving children were created. Jonvil was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Smith; parental grandmother, Hazel Smith; maternal grandparents, Johnny A. "PAP" and Robert Jewel Frazier; aunts, Brenda "Tiny" Smith, Clara Mae Frazier and Ruby Jewel Frazier and uncles, Victor Lee and Danny Ray Frazier. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, whom he affectionately referred to as "Hun", EnSandra Frazier- Allen of Cason, Texas; his loving wife, Marshe't Hawkins- Frazier of Cason, Texas; three children, Chastyn Eu'la, Cashus Vinshae, and Arie Rain Frazier all of Cason, Texas; one bonus daughter, Jalaesha Miller of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two brothers, Eric Fuller, Jr. (Crystal) of Paris, Texas and Cross Allen of Cason, Texas; one sister, LaQuenta Wells (Billie, Jr.) of Cason, Texas; grandfather, Ervin Smith, Jr. (Henrietta) of New Diana, Texas; three aunts, Shirley Smith of Longview, Texas, Johnnie Lewis (Kenneth) of Mount Pleasant, Texas and Sandra Smith of Longview, Texas; four uncles, Jerry Smith (Vivian) of New Diana, Texas, Charlie Frazier (Mela) of Pittsburg, Texas, Ervin Smith of Longview, Texas and Ronnie Frazier (Chasity) of Dallas, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
