Johnie B brought out the ABSOLUTE BEST in people. Whenever I would see Johnie B I would instantly without knowing start smiling….that was his glow. I’m honored and blessed to have been able to call him my beyond my teammate beyond my friend he was one of my most awesome brothers. Johnie B thank you for blessing my life
There was nothing like Johnny’s laugh. He shared them every day. Jesse and Johnny worked hard and then they exchanged laughes. Johnny took care of Jesse’s needs every day before Jesse was called by God. Jesse said Johnny was like a son to him. He loved Johnny deeply. All I had to do was call Johnny and he came. He’d pick Jess up from the floor and lay him ever so gently on the bed. Johnny walked with God in his life every day. Our dear friend and ever so faithful companion. You will be forever missed.
I grew up with the Hurndons and I cannot ever remember him without that smile. He will surely be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family in the days to come.
