  1. Ms. BROUSSARD WAS A FAITHFULL SERVANT OF THE LORD, SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY EVERYONE WHO KNEW HER. PRAYERS FOR HER FAMILY.

  2. She was a super nice lady to kids and fellow staff members at school. We’ll be keeping your family in our prayers.

  3. Although I haven’t seen her since I was a child, I remember her well. She was always very nice to me when we would see her. My mom and dad, Malvin and Ressie Nix, especially loved Johneice. Thelma, her mother, was an amazing person and was the Patriarch of the Nix family, it’s easy to see why Johneice was such a beautiful soul. Johnieice’s sister Carol Davis, assumed that title and wanted for all the Nix’s to get together so bad, but she fell ill and passed away. I wish I had picked up the torch and made that happen as I would have loved to have seen Johneice again to tell her thank you for being so kind to me. Everyone who was graced with her presence was better for meeting her. My condolences and prayers for the family, especially Ellen, Janet, Ron, Randall, and Johneice’s sister Shirley and niece Karen. I love and miss you all. I’m so sorry for your loss, heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Sincerely, Kenny Nix

  4. Ellen,

  5. Betty J Williamson says:

Johneice was one of the sweetest people that you would ever meet. I only find out that I have lost another relative if I check the website of the funeral home. I did not know that Carole had passed away. Heaven has gained another for their heavenly choir. God bless her huge family. Wish I could have been there to greet you all in person but I will be keeping you in my heart. Love to all of you, Betty June Walker Williamson

  6. To Janet & The Extended Broussard Family, with Deepest Regrets and Condolences….

Mrs. Broussard was a Child and Servant of God, a very genteel Lady and one of the finest Human Beings that I had the honor and privilege of knowing in my entire life.

I can honestly say that I never heard Mrs. Broussard say an unkind word to or about anyone or anything, ever…..

She was especially tolerant of us during and after our high school years; when I am certain that we were at our most trying……

To live in hearts that we leave behind
    is not to die……

May God Bless You All Now and in the difficult days ahead….

Submitted with love and the greatest respect….

    Beth & Matthew Lanagan
