Graveside services for John Patrick Burns, 30, of Longview, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at Clark Cemetery, with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mr. Burns was born November 2, 1979 in Pittsburgh, Texas and died August 5, 2010 in Longview, Texas. Mr. Burns was of the Baptist faith and by profession a welder.Survivors include his mother, Beth VanZandt of Pittsburgh, a daughter, Hanna Burns and son Alden Burns both of Pittsburgh, Texas; a brother, Kevin Burns of Daingerfield, Texas; and several aunts.Mr. Burns will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be: Brandon Rhyne, Trevor Spurlock, Darren Lee, Sherman Braud, James Scholl and Brian Scarborough
