Dan Gilliam officiating.Joe was born April 14, 1931 in Morris County and died Monday, August 12, 2013 in Tyler.Joe was a Baptist and the former Sheriff of Morris County.Survived by his wife, Martha Starrett of Daingerfield; daughter and son-in-law, Danna and Brent Nelson of Tyler; sister, Bennie Stephens of Daingerfield; grandchildren, Seth and Sydney Nelson of Tyler; several nieces and nephews.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
