Just spoke with her recently, we had a lot of laughs, thankfully. Will miss our conversations about our dogs too. Bless her family, whom she loved dearly . Rest In Peace, Jo.💕

  3. I first knew Jo when we were both employed at Lone Star Steel and was so fortunate to have expanded on that friendship by several years as bridge club buddies. Through all the years, Jo has had my respect and love. Such a beautiful smart lady who will be missed by all who were fortunate to call her friend. May Gods grant each of you peace.

  4. Jo and I shared a love of dogs. She was such a sweetheart, always smiling, never complaining. I enjoyed playing bridge with her and will miss her pictures of Maine! She was a great lady. My heart goes out to her family.

  5. I truly loved Jo. We could talk on the phone for hours. She loved her animals with a passion. One of the most intelligent people I have ever known. She was always ready to talk about any subject. I will miss her smile and her sweet laugh. I will miss her at the bridge table.
My prayers are with her family. I know from many of our conversations that she loved you dearly.

  6. Furr Ever Pets Rescue says:

Jo, Molly and Murphey are grieving for you. They are a true evidence of your love and care for your pet children. I remember that day you took Murphey home. You were so happy. We will take good care of these babies.

  7. Holly, Todd, and Jennifer,
Your Mom was one of the sweetest people ever! She worked with my Dad at the Plant, and was a great admirer of his fruitcake! And I believe some of you were also in some of My Mom’s classes at Daingerfield Jr High.. not counting the Methodist Church ties through the years! Your sweet Mom always had such kind words for every one, and, you were so blessed to have her as your Mom. I will never forget looking up at each of my parents funerals in Arkansas and seeing your Sweet Mom there! It just touched my heart and I have never forgotten how it made me feel! It was a long drive for her.. but, that is just the kind of heart she had! I pray that all of your memories will bring each of you smiles in the future, especially your trip to New England! I do know how hard this is for each of you, and will keep you all in our prayers and always be thankful, for how your sweet beautiful Mom touched my life.
Hugs to you all. I am also sure my Daddy had a new joke for her when she walked through those pearly gates… and , maybe a piece of his pecan fruitcake, that she loved!
    Prayers and hugs,
    Beth & Matthew Lanagan

  9. This made me so sad to hear about Jo. My youngest childhood memories include your family and the friendship our families shared. I will always remember your mom, Linda Meyers, and my mom laughing and having a great time. I was so honored when she came to my mom’s funeral in 2005. Your memorial was beautiful.
