Jo Ann LileDaingerfield- Funeral services for Jo Ann Lile, 77 of Daingerfield will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the South Union Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Croswell officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Jo Ann was born on August 28, 1936 in Big Sandy to Joseph and Maggie White. She died on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Hughes Springs.She was a member of South Union Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Jo Ann graduated from Daingerfield ISD, worked for Lone Star Steel and was a bookkeeper for White's Service Station. She was a member of the Eastern Star.Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Travis White.Survived by her husband, Bill Lile of Daingerfield; son, Paul Lile of Ft. Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gregg Mars of Longview; grandsons, Joey Mars and Jason Mars both of Longview. Several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

  2. Some of my fondest memories of growing up and living in Lone Star involve my friendship with Jo Ann and her family. She and I had so many wonderful times together. My love and prayers go out to Bill, and the children and grandchildren. I cannot be there, but my prayers will be with you all.

  4. Bill,I hate to hear the passing of your wife and Mr. Joe’s daughter Jo Ann. I remember you and her coming to Mr. White’s station when I was working there while in high school in the early 60’s. I have nothing but fond memories working for Mr. Joe and the work ethic and honesty he taught me all those years.
