  5. Jimmy was a great man and friend. He was very loyal employee of LSSCO. Even when they were not so loyal to him. He had the reputation as a problem solver in any electrical maintenance issue. Condolences to his sweet wife (my classmate of 1953) and his entire family.

  13. Jimmy and Bobbie became friends of the family instantly. I Rolled in to ABC Coke one morning and when I met Jimmy he’s all rigs all waxed and polished up and the first thing he said was boy you either make a lot of money or you’re planning to I said hope the little of both sir. I explained we cut steel with water and we can clean anything that has not been able to be cleaned on the Coke ovens or any of the equipment So he went to the boneyard to find some hard things to test me on. Well It goes to say I worked for Jimmy for several years at ABC coke and the opportunity came up and I asked Jimmy to leave and come up north to work with me back in Detroit Jimmy and Bobbie talked about the move and They said yes so they packed up and to Detroit we were off. When we arrived we had a shut down in process at marathon oil and it was snowing so we went out and bought insulated carharts and boots and hats and gloves I think that was the only time he questioned what he was doing. That day forward Jimmy was always a pleasure to work with and made the best of all situations and It was always good to see Bobbie with him at the job site. From Maine to Florida and to Texas we did a lot of jobs all were good. Jimmy Bobby Marty and the rest of the Walker family have been a blessing to know and a real honor we are proud to call them friends you will remain in our hearts and prayers God bless you all. 15. Betty Walker Williamson says:

I take a chance to look at the website and find I have lost another one of my family. Jimmy and Bobby (I always think of them together) were a pair. Jimmy was a special person, as the others have said, he never met a stranger. He was always smiling. I have not seen them since our last 1953 class reunion as Bobbie and I graduated together. You guys will be in my prayers.
