Jerrold Troyece Barnard Daingerfield - Services for Jerrold Troyece Barnard, 78, of Daingerfield will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Churchwith Father Juan officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery. There will be a Rosary 5 p.m. Sunday at Nail-Haggard Chapel.Mr. Barnard was born April 14, 1932 in Cason and died January 6, 2011 in Longview. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Knights ofColumbus, and the VFW. He was a veteran of the US Army.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel Arthur & Lenner LudieBarnard; son, Donald Barnard; grandchildren, Ashley Clement & Bobby Glenn.Survivors include his wife, Patricia Barnard of Daingerfield; daughter &son-in-law, Karen & Billy Clement of Pittsburg; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Charles& Michelle Barnard of Daingerfield, Mike & Kim Barnard of New Orleans, LA;2 granddaughters, Tiffany Hull & her husband, Phillip of Mansfield, Brinn Barnardof Houston; great-grandson, Austin Hull of Mansfield; great-granddaughter, HaileyHull of Mansfield; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Cloven & Peggy Barnard of Dainger-Field, Jimmy & Darlene Barnard of Lufkin; 2 sisters, Johnnie House of Winnsboro,Betty Davidson of New Boston.Family will receive friends 6 pm til 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

    Troyece saved my life on our Senior trip in 1953. He was the oldest and tallest, thank God, since I got into an strong undercurrent in the ocean at Galveston and he pulled me out. I am thankful that his suffering is over and he can rest with God.
