James Sapp

A celebration of the life of James "Jimmy" Sapp, 57, of Hughes Springs will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 7, 2023 in Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield with Pastor Dan McGuire of Crossroad Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Sapp was born on June 3, 1966. He passed away on July 2, 2023 in Hughes Springs. Services have been entrusted to the Horn family at Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. Jimmy owned his own plumbing company and had over 25 years of experience as a plumber. He drove diesel trucks and loved all things nature. He enjoyed traveling and more than anything else helping others. He had no enemies. A loving son, father, grandfather and brother, Jimmy is survived by one son, Geordan Sapp and Carolyn of Pecos; grandson, Teagan Sapp of Pecos; parents, James Sapp of Lynn Haven, FL and Mary Decker of Hughes Springs; sister, Robin Russell and husband David of Hughes Springs; brothers, Jeff Sapp and wife Sheri of Avinger, Gerald Sapp and Vicki Hunter of Florida; nieces and nephews, Kristina Russell Wilbanks of Hughes Springs, Kayla Wilson and Greg of Avinger, Kassie Kimble and Josh of Hughes Springs, Amber Moore, Christa Wilsted and Daniel, Wesley Sapp, Melody DeMent and Clay, Joseph Sapp, Noah Sapp, Landon Sapp, Lyric Sapp, Reannah Pearson, Allie Lambert, Kaylee Pearson, Tyler Sapp and Brittany, Taylor Sapp, Torie Sapp as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.
