Daingerfield- Memorial services for James Roy "Sonny" Carpenter, 76 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating.Sonny was born April 3, 1939 in Daingerfield to Jessie Roy and Frances Euller Carpenter. He died on Friday, June 12, 2015 in Daingerfield.Sonny was a veteran of the U S Army and member of First Baptist Church in Cason.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Connie Dodson Carpenter, son Robert Paul Carpenter (infant), sisters Dorothy Carpenter Epps, Wanda June Carpenter, brothers Roger Dale Carpenter and Jerry Michael Carpenter.Survived by his wife Glenda Carpenter of Daingerfield; daughter and son-in-law Beth and Wayne Kennamer of Daingerfield; sons and daughters-in-law James and Michelle Carpenter of Hallsville, Ricky and Niki Carpenter of Daingerfield, Matthew and Joanie Carpenter of Mt.
