I am so sorry to hear that James has passed. I considered him a good friend for years when he lived in Hughes Springs. We worked together in the Chamber of Commerce. To his wife and other family members my condolences to you. May God touch you and give you strength and peace. Rest easy, My friend, James.
Our heart goes out to Jean and the family and friends as they walk through this time of sorrow, but James touched alot of lives during his life. It was a joy to know him.He loved his life with Sherry, and then God brought Jean into his life. He would tell you he was a blessed man and loved his family and friends.
So sorry to to hear of James’ passing. He was such a special friend. He will truly be missed. He joins my late husband, Tommy Dyar & other classmates of the class of 1962, in heaven. My prayers for his family.Nita Dyar Reeves.
I enjoyed being on facebook with James since our 50th class reunion. I know from his posts that he had a strong faith in God. Also that he was a proud American and Texan. He will be missed.

Every time I hear the song “Your Man”, I’ll think of him as I’m sure everyone who has heard him sing it will as well. I’ll picture him looking down at us and being able to sing the entire song as his lungs are no longer tied to that oxygen tank. While James is no longer with us, his spirit will always be around us. Love to Jean and his kids and all the grandkids.
We loved James so much but we know he is heaven with a healed body. Our thoughts and prayers go out for the Duck family. They are a precious family and are loved by many. MAY GOD GRANT THEM GRACE NOW AND IN THE DAYS TO FOLLOW
